Quest Software, a global systems management, data protection and security software provider, announced that effective immediately, the company has moved from a closed distributor model to an open model in North America. This shift makes it simple for partners to purchase Quest data protection, unified endpoint management, Microsoft platform management and information management solutions through any Quest Authorized Distributor. The open source distributor model, specific to commercial transactions and excluding public sector/federal transactions, ensures greater partner flexibility, making it even easier to do business with Quest.

With the new open distributor model, partners no longer have to align with one distributor and now have the flexibility to purchase from any Quest authorized commercial distributor, including Lifeboat Distribution. For existing Quest reseller partners, all rights and privileges of the Quest Partner Circle program are unaffected. Partners can remain with their current Quest Authorized Distributor or purchase Quest solutions through different Authorized Distributor partners.
