“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart. Wishing you happiness.” – Helen Keller
Lunch Break, located in Red Bank, New Jersey, was founded in 1983, when 35 people gathered at the Friends Meeting House in Shrewsbury to discuss the issue of hunger in Monmouth County. They committed themselves to help the community members who find it difficult to provide the bare necessities for their families.
As the tradition and dedication continued through the years, in 2008, Gwendolyn Love took over as Executive Director. To this day, Gwendolyn and her staff help the community with over 1,500 volunteers annually. From bagged lunches, to hot dinners, to providing groceries for families- their vision to focus on the communities in need remains.
On behalf of our vendors who partnered with us, we have made a donation to Lunch Break, making sure that your commitment to our partnership reaches directly into the communities that we hold dear.
Our partnership together is valued beyond words. Thank you for making this donation possible!
Warmest greetings of the season and best wishes for happiness in the New Year.
