Out Came the Dirndl & Lederhosen and Lifeboat Celebrated Oktoberfest!

Oktoberfest is the world’s largest beer festival (16 – 18 days to be exact) held in Munich, Germany. While Lifeboat’s Oktoberfest didn’t last quite that long, on October 1, we celebrated here in Eatontown, NJ!

Our Lifeboat sales teams were split up into groups and had 10 minutes to mingle with each of our sponsoring vendors (Bluebeam, Parallels, Paessler and Seagull) during the speed networking portion of the day. During that time, the vendors shared product updates along with best practices for selling their solutions. We may have even gotten word about an upcoming SPIFF!

After Speed Networking concluded, we gathered in Sips & Bytes where we enjoyed roasted chicken, brats, German potato salad and more for lunch! Shout-out to Demarco’s Catering for supplying yet another delicious lunch.

We concluded the day by announcing Katy Butterwick as our $500 Grand Prize winner – Congratulations, Katy!

Once the workday came to a close, we met for an Oktoberfest-style Happy Hour, complete with pretzels, roasted nuts, beer and a steinholding contest!

Congratulations to the strongest folks in Lifeboat, Rich Slowik and Kori Pugh for outlasting all of their opponents.

Today’s event wouldn’t have been possible without our awesome vendors. As always, our partnership together is much appreciated! Thank you to Bluebeam, Parallels, Paessler and Seagull – you are all awesome!

Interested in joining our next speed networking event? Email the VPM team and we’ll keep you in the loop at we plan for 2020.

PROST!
