The Acronis Global Cyber Summit 2019 is officially over. Acronis hosted more than 1,000 registrants – including cybersecurity experts, CIOs, IT pros, MSPs, value-added resellers, and ISVs and developers – joining in the two-and-a-half-day conference to explore modern approaches to protect critical data assets and systems. Needless to say, the Summit was highly educational and entertaining. Here are some of our favorite moments from our new favorite cyber protection event.

The summit featured insightful panel discussions with industry leaders, workshops, training, and a showcase of the latest innovations from Acronis. The panel discussions focused on a variety of topics such as Success in the Cloud, Transforming your Reseller Business, Edge Computing and Integration and Automation. The summit also showcased thought leaders and industry experts that shared their combined insights and discussed the best strategies for protecting vital data from modern cyberthreats. This event brought together the leaders in cyber protection to network, discuss the cyber climate, and have fun!

Interwork’s own Maggie Szczygielski had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Linda Babcock, Professor of Economics at Carnigie Mellon University at the Women in Tech Breakfast. This event featured a panel of prominent women in the industry discussing complex issues such as work-life balance and workplace disparity.

The Summit also included many speeches from IT industry leaders such as Eric O’Neil, former FBI Counterterrorism and Counterintelligence Operative and Keren Elazari, internationally recognized security analyst, researcher, write and speaker. Interwork’s President and GM, Joe Graci got a chance to meet Robert Herjavec, co-host of Shark Tank and Founder of the Herjavec Group and hear him give a keynote speech on his experiences as a global IT leader. As an entrepreneur who has built and sold several IT companies, Herjavec’s ability to interpret industry trends and understand the security demands of enterprises allowed him to share valuable insight on the current cyber security landscape. “The Acronis Cyber Summit was one to remember!
