US Army Awards $32M Contract to Liqid

How do your customers meet their data analytics demand?

Liqid’s solutions and services enable infrastructure to adapt and approach full utilization. Processes can be automated to realize further efficiencies to better address data demand associated with next-generation applications in AI, IoT deployment, DevOps, Cloud and Edge computing, NVMe- and GPU-over-Fabric (NVMe-oF, GPU-oF) support, and beyond.

Liqid’s high-powered high-capacity composable drives gets the job done.

Powerful GPU supercomputers offer incredible performance for AI and computationally intensive work loads. Liqid sought to create a GPU supercomputer solution that provides compelling GPU performance for visually intensive workloads by leveraging the broader NVIDIA® Quadro RTX™ family of products. The Liqid ThinkTank LQD8360 composable GPU system was designed to unleash the power Nvidia RTX 8000 GPUs in a performance centric solution for the most demanding visual workloads.

US Army buys two new supercomputers to meet data analytics demand.

The U.S. Army has bought two new supercomputers to boost data analytics capabilities in response to customers across the military branches requesting such services. They awarded a contract worth nearly $32 million to Colorado-based company Liqid!

“These machines have the capability to do the physics-based modeling, but also have a significant capability for artificial intelligence and machine-learning applications,” said Thomas Kendall, supercomputing acquisition lead with The High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP) and senior technical adviser to the director of the Army Research Lab’s Computational and Information Sciences Directorate.
